21. Mahamri

Ingredients;

 4 cups of wheat flour
11/2 cups of milk/water
1 cup of sugar
3 tsp yeast
1 cup of grated coconut (for coconut milk) /coconut milk from a can
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp of cardamom

Method

1. Boil grated coconut, drain and cool the coconut milk to a room temperature.

2. Mix yeast with a 1/4 cup of warm milk and set aside to buble up. like 5-10 minutes.   
  
3. Add all the ingredients to the bubled up yeast.

4. Add coconut milk and knead. Set the dough on the table and continue kneading until it's soft, but not sticky.

5. Cut into 7-9 portions.

6. Roll to a nice round circle and divide/cut into quarters or small squares. Cover for 5-10 minutes.

7. Heat oil, add the piece of though one by one. Fry one side at time  and you can also try to fry two at time. 

8. Serve.
